Men for Christ is comprised of congregations of Independent Christian Churches and Churches of Christ. One of our purposes as stated in Article 2 of our Bylaws is to “promote and execute specific Christian activities after the general pattern set forth in the New Testament.”

So, what do these activities look like? And, what is the pattern set forth in the New Testament? To answer these questions, we must acknowledge and truly believe that God’s Word, the Holy Bible, is true and honor its authority. The authority of God’s Word does not change. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 states “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

As men representing our local congregations, it is our responsibility to study, to teach, and to honor the authority of the Scriptures. Otherwise, how can we “Watch out for false prophets”? (Matthew 7:15)
